In August 2016, I challenged myself to take a dive into one of the most inspiring travels of my life. Spending a full two weeks in Alaska proved to be an absolutely life changing event. I would often stare out of my city apartment window wondering what this mecca of wilderness had in store. This is America's last frontier, a land area covering almost half the size of the lower 48 states is as vast and remote as one would imagine. Traveling my bus, car, plane and by foot; I can say with confidence, that I truly got a taste of this behemoth of a state. Exploring through thick forests, arctic mountains, frozen tundra, ice-cold glacier streams, wildlife safe havens, and endless foliage this was no doubt an adventure of a lifetime.
