Part of the christmas market project, the salt and pepper shakers ‘Salty buttons’ works around the concept of giving an object another function than that it was originally designed to.
Here, the buttons work as nozzles instead of holding pieces of textiles together. Matching pairs of buttons make up a pair of shakers; in white for salt and black for pepper. The main bodies of the shakers are turned in wood, with a cork piece in the bottom and real (disinfected) buttons used as nozzles.
