This newest addition to the "Cryptozoologica" series is inspired from H. P. Lovecraft's Shadow Over Innsmouth, a novella set on the North Shore of Massachusetts in the fictional town of Innsmouth. Being from neighboring Newburyport, I thought it would be appropriate to design the Deep Ones, the main antagonists of the story. For this piece, I shot all of the original photography and combined it all in photoshop.
