Draw or Die is a new stationery company that provides various back to school basics like notebooks, pencil cases, pencil holders, rulers, pencils and erasers. Draw or Die is selling supplies in stores such as Wal-Mart, Staples, Michaels, Skate shops and online. The primary target audience is boys and girls ages 12+ who live in Vancouver. The main objective is to create awareness and interest about Draw or Die by setting it apart from the competition and make it the number one choice for school supplies.
Paper Clips and Bull Clips
Great office supply packaging by designer Ryan Raschbaum.
This project was awarded the Judges Choice Award in the DSVC Student Show 2012.
Kleenex Packaging
Since I’m including myself in the target audience, I started to think through how the packaging could be designed so that it would be something I would enjoy having on my desk. Beyond simply decorating a Kleenex box, I wanted to think through how the product (the tissues) could interact with the packaging once it was open, which eventually led to a typewriter loaded with paper, a whale spraying from his blowhole, a cottage emitting smoke, and any number of executions that fit that idea."

"The new trademark «Muzzles» is designed to organize shelf space in retail outlets in a new way, to attract attention and interact with customers. The package works together with its contents to create a funny face that communicates with the customer in the shop and continues to interact with anyone who buys it. It creates a strong emotional bond that you would not want to break. Kids will love it, parents will love it. It’s lots of fun."

Not an overly quirky design but do office supplies really need to be quirky?
I found the design of this product range appealing because it's easy on the eye and clearly states what is inside each box. The style is consistent and the whole range fits together perfectly.
Doodlebug is a conceptual package design for an office supplies kit. The inspiration came from bugs and the environments they live in.

Packaging based on bugs and their habitats. Provides a tidy way of storing stationery and office supplies.
Pen/Pencil Packaging
The brief was to create packaging for two pens and a pencil, which would be given to first year graphic communication students when they started the course in September. I wanted to create something that would link to student lifestyle, yet be ambitious enough to demonstrate to the students what they could potentially achieve on the course, hence my pizza box design.

Making a package for 12 HB pencils gray. A luxury product and simple to place on any desktop."
This is what every graphic designer needs on their desk! Clever student project from Mike McVicar, a recent graduate of the University of Florida graphic design program:
"The Patron Saints of design desktop supply kit is a blessed set of essential supplies for graphic designers. This packaging project features four patron saints of different aspects of designs, cutting and measuring, typography, adhesives, and drafting. Each of the four containers features information about the saint along with the appropriate tools like scissors, type specimen book, tape, etc."
This set of stationery called 'Inkkit' is inspiring to me because the product is based around the packaging design. It's supposed to look very woodland-ish in it's style featuring handmade boxes, pots and envelopes for storing different kinds of stationery. I particularly like the pencils as they''re designed to fit into the whole aesthetic that the packaging creates.
