Beyond the Surface

Beyond the Surface
Photographs
A walk down the street is a new experience, no matter how many times I've walked down the same street before. When I photograph, I look closely at the world around me and change it into one that is not quite real or unreal.

It's while looking through the viewfinder that I create my images, applying varying degrees of focus to form, light, and color, shooting from unusual angles. Recently, I've been drawn to the natural intersection of multiple surfaces in one image — reflections on glass, what's inside, and what's beyond.
