For my Capstone project, I wanted to create something that will benefit a lot of people here in Kuwait and bring something new to the market. I came up with the idea of a bakery that serves diabetes-friendly food since Kuwait has one of the highest rates of diabetes worldwide.
The bakery is called Hlow, which means sweet in Arabic. The logo spells out Hlow in Arabic letters and is meant to look like whipped cream.
Hlow is a new type of bakery that specializes in diabetes- friendly desserts. Anything we create is both healthy and delicious. Hlow promises to keep you healthy even when it seems that diabetes has taken over your entire life, It’s in our nature to want what we can’t have. For most diabetics, it’s the sugary goodness. Our bakery is the place to indulge your forbidden cravings without the guilt and without worrying about how it might a affect your health. We provide you with the nutritional information along with each item you buy. This information includes the exchanges you need to make in order to maintain a healthy and balanced diet. All you have to do is enjoy your dessert and come back for more - you earned it!
