Here are all of my best and current works that I have designed for classes and have received positive praise for. Many of these works have been the reason I have made the Dean's List at Ozarks Technical College (OTC) for a semester.
(Above) This is series of images of two word visual puns. Starting from the top left and going to the right then repeating for each row, they are: fruit cake, song bird, hot lips, pig out, big cheese, card shark, bad apple, big fish, social butterfly, sly fox, night owl, health nut, sweet heart, good egg, and love birds.
(Above) An extremely detailed book cover re-design for the popular book Welcome To Night Vale by Joseph Fink and Jeffery Cranor. The buildings and things on the cover are just some of the well known landmarks of both the book and podcast such as the Moon Light All Night Diner, the Desert Flower Bowling Ally and Arcade Fun Complex, the forbidden dog park, and the Night Vale Public Radio broadcasting tower.
(Above) This is a box design for a fictional toy series called Captain Space Man. The art work here isn't the best but what's impressive about this one is how, once full assembled, this box folds into a space ship shape. It is complete with two wings and engines on the bottom.
(Above) The goal of this project was to implement a word into a large poster. I chose (from a list of approved words) the word community. I decided to go with a sort of above view that is similar to that of older PC games like Fallout 1 & 2 or Diablo. The isometric view made it easier to transform multiple buildings into letters to form the word. This approach was apparently unique in my class.
(Above) This was a small project that required the use of a single font to create a character or image. I chose the font "American Typewriter" (which to my knowledge can only be found on Mac versions of Adobe programs) and made a 1920's style detective. Not the most complex thing on the list, but I am proud of how stylized and recognizable it looks with just so little done.
