Sonar - Interactive Installation

The project aim was to create a device that could make the people in the city of Cali in Colombia reflect on how the interactions humans have with the environment can affect the water sources around them.

With the help of Arduino Skintimacy, the device is able to generate sound based on the physical interactions the users have. The sound created by their interactions  affects a pool of water, located on top of the device, generating waves of different shape on the surface.

The interactions the users have can go from handshaking to a pat on the back, as long as there is contact between them and the device a change can be visible in the water.
