This 12” vinyl record cover was a visual response to the song Svenfn-G-Englar which is performed by the Icelandic band Sigur Rós. The photograph was taken in a predetermined wooded area that embraced the calming and reflective qualities of the song. A slow shutter speed captured the light moving between the branches of the trees and created a surreal and spiritual tone. In Photoshop, the colours of the photograph were enhanced with natural hues of blues which contributed to the overall mystical feel of the image.
