First version of the octopus goblet, the base of the tentacle was too small to stabilize the wine glass. I tried making the base of the tentacle larger, but I couldn't get it big enough without ruining the aesthetics.

The Second version has a base to add stability. The base increased stability but came out of the final firing somewhat warped. This version was also quite heavy. 

Latest version of the octopus wine goblet. This one starts with throwing the base and tentacle as one piece on the wheel and then altering it. This is the most stable and lightweight version of the wine goblet so far. The base still warped a bit in the final firing, so I'm going to make it thicker next time.
