Rylie Swain's profile

Comana Health Center

My group and I worked with Swope Health Services, a non-profit community health center in Kansas City, over an entire semester to revamp its brand identity. This project was for our capstone Strategic Campaigns course. As the Creative Director on this project, I designed and crafted the materials we came up with to promote preventative healthcare to low-income and millennial populations. We executed this through interactive print and social media materials.

Our project won an award from the International Association of Business Communicators-Kansas City Chapter's Quills competition and was also a finalist for Best in Show.

Unite and Inspire the Community
Love Longer direct mailer campaign
Comana will inspire millennials to love each other longer by taking care of themselves & their loved ones by going to the doctor.  The mailer has two parts- removable magnet with Comana’s information and a perforated card decorated with a message of love and appreciation.

Upon each cards delivery, a social media announcement for that card would be made. If someone to did not receive a card in the mail, they could be ordered on Comana's website for free.

Post-its filled out by the community at events such as First Friday's and Third Thursday's. These would would be used to create a Love Longer board inside of Comana as well as scanned and viewable online.

At these events, Comana would have a table set up with color card versions of their mailers.
Get a Physical, Give a Physical outreach campaign

Along with the post-it notes and coloring cards, Comana will have an iPad station that allows people to sign up for a physical. When they do, they will be giving a physical to a local child in need.
