For this project we were asked to target a particular issue occurring around the world at present. With this garment I wanted to target the issue of how we are destroying our environment through greed of always wanting more. Looking at various environmental issues and communicating them to the audience through a more visual portrayal. Taking inspiration from two great artists, Alexander McQueen and Fabrice Monteiro, I wanted to portray this garment through a sense of shock to make the problem known to the public even though it may not be seen so easily.

A lot of people know the issue of global warming yet lack to see what other environmental issues affect the environment. For my project I targeted the issue of oil spill and its effects on animals in this case birds (feathers) were used.
