Fragile Optimist
Free-time work for self- promoting purposes in music. The image is from a high school self-portrait photography project emphasizing on multiple exposure. The top view is the finalized edit for possible future cover art or portrait illustration. I wanted to execute a more vibrant feel in color warmth with a play on highlights in its tonal ranges. The typography is inspired by my love for the simplicity of line. Although the typeface used for this project is a san serif display called KOMODA. I played with the length of line on the 'i's. Additionally, I wanted to work on the movement in the word "fragile" because it coincides with the actions of breaking apart or imbalance which brings some tension. While it dramatically contrasts with the word "optimist" being more balanced and put together.
