Metropol Magazine is a popular regional magazine, delivering entertaining and informative editorial to Christchurch readers about everything from local business, politics and the arts.

By 2018 Christchurch has an expected 8% population growth (15,000 people per annum) due to the earthquake recovery. As the city grows, Metropol hopes it readership numbers will grow too.

With a long-term forecast, the magazine plans the foundations for a radical visual shake-up. A new journalistic approach, supported by a savvy European art direction style (color pallet, grid system, font selection, photo art direction) will be adopted.
