I have designed a system that exemplifies the relationship between woven and concrete structures. A system consisting of parts that can slide on stretched steel cables has been prepared, which can be used for both shading or partitioning interactively. Thanks to the chosen materials the structure is weathertight. The basic elements are prepared the following way: I plunge the weft yarn in concrete before weaving, so the pattern remains visible after the tissue becomes hard. The textil which I use as a weft yarn was made of a threaded old cotton material thereby recycle that. The system can be adapted to any given site by varying the cables and other elements.
