Numerical Investigation of Trapped Vortex Combustor

In a group of three, an unsteady numerical simulation of 3D, viscous, incompressible flow  was performed using ANSYS package to study the Single Cavity TVC and Double Cavity TVC at different equivalence ratios. The pressure recovery of combustion chamber, flow pattern, vorticity magnitude and turbulence intensity were investigated for both cases.
