PECS or Picture Exchange Communication System is intended to help people with communication difficulties. Visual cards serve as important communicational and educational tool for families with autistic children. This set of cards covers the basic needs of a small child. The cards are designed in a practical, portable format of 4x4 cm to be used as a set of separate cards or gathered into a keyholder, which can be easily taken along and the cards won't be lost.
The work on the project is going on. The version with a girl character is coming next. The following steps include creating expanded sets of cards and animated digital versions of cards.
The cards are produced by Planik (Petrozavodsk, Russia).
