Esta es la tercera edición de cuadros realizados en el contexto insular del Archipiélago de Chiloé, en el sur de Chile. He participado en dos exposiciones y estoy haciendo dibujos enmarcados a encargo.
Son todos dibujos hechos con tiralíneas de arquitectura, colores acuarelables, tinta ecoline para las caligrafías, plumas biseladas y colapen (pluma construida con lata de bebida). Pasen y vean!
This is the third edition of frames realised in the context where I live (Chiloé Archipelago, South of Chile). I participated in local art expositions and now I am doing framed custom drawings.
All the drawings are made with architecture pencils, watercolour pencils, "ecoline" ink for the calligraphy letters, bevelled pen and "colapen" (made with beverage can). Come and see!

Chonchi es una ciudad ubicada en el centro sur de la Isla Grande de Chiloé, al sur de la capital, Castro. Tiene una geografía particular de "tres pisos" o tres terrazas naturales donde se despliega la mejor arquitectura neoclásica en madera realizada en su período de mayor esplendor económico (siglo pasado). La canción "Chonchi, Chonchi Querido" es muy tradicional de esta urbe.
Chonchi is a city located in the center-south of the Big Island of Chiloé, by the south of the capital, Castro. It has a particular "three-stories" geography or three natural terraces where unfolds the best wooden neoclassical architecture, built in its period of better economic splendor in the last century. The song "Chonchi, Chonchi Querido" ("Dear Chonchi") is a very traditional melody of this town.

"Arrogantes, vistosas casitas se levantan a orillas del mar" es un trozo de la canción "Chonchi, Chonchi Querido", himno a la ciudad que conserva la mayor cantidad de patrimonio arquitectónico del siglo pasado y antepasado en madera. En este cuadro además de caligrafías, hay letras dibujadas inspiradas en el cartelismo peruano, particularmente de los artistas de "Carga Máxima".
