A tribute to the Ford Mustang
Here is a modest tribute to a legendary muscle car : Ford Mustang Fastback, like the one roaring in the movie Bullitt with Steve McQueen.
This is my first attempt of making a reduction linocut. As I'm quite satisfied with the result, I've planned to work on other prints of that kind, ideally on famous movie cars.
To be honest, as I still have few experience with inks, I've been cheating to keep much control on colors. I separated reds and greens, so I had to make 2 different plates.
This print is an edition of 6, handprinted on Hahnemühle paper with a baren (unfortunately I have no place for a press), using water washable inks, and is available on my Etsy shop right here.
