The inspiration was the divided Korea that is why thy collection is separated too. The thick, grey, material patterned pieces are characterized by the northern part while the southern part textile shows light, transparent feeling what I made with flax fiber and cotton thread with knotted decoration. The zigzag pattern inspired by the northern soldiers angle between the arms, legs and gun. I made one image piece which combines the symbols of the two parts of Korea.
