Parkett è un brand che si occupa di musica elettronica underground attraverso un progetto editoriale che la avvolge a 360°.
Con loro è iniziata una collaborazione che prevede la realizzazione di una serie di illustrazioni dedicate ai maggiori protagonisti del panorama musicale dell'elettronica.
Il primo artista scelto è stato Jeff Mills, il mago della Tecno Music.

Parkett is a brand that deals with underground electronic music through a publishing project that wraps it at 360°.
With them I began a collaboration that involves the realizations of a series of illustrations dedicated to the major players in the electronic music scene.
The first artist chosen was Jeff Mills, the magician of Techno Music.
Come prima idea volevo catturare Jeff nel pieno della sua creazione musicale. Assieme al committente abbiamo concordato che non fosse molto iconico ed abbiamo scartato l'idea.

As a first idea I wanted to capture Jeff in full of his musical creation. Together with the customer we agreed that it was not very iconic as pose and we discarded the idea.
Seconda Bozza // Second Sketch
Il committente mi ha proposto di rilavorare sulla posizione più conosciuta di Jeff Mills.
Dopo la prova abbiamo deciso che l'illustrazione nel complesso avesse una sua compattezza e soprattutto richiamasse l'idea collettiva di Jeff Mills nell'immaginario della gente ed ho proseguito per questa direzione.

The client asked me to rework on the most known posture of Jeff Mills.
After the test we have decided that the illustration on the whole had its compactness and especially it recalls the collective idea of Jeff Mills in the imagination of the people and so I continued in this direction.

Per lo sfondo ho ricreato i cerchi concentrici che da sempre accompagnano Jeff Mills

For the background I created the concentric circles that always surrend Jeff Mills
Definitivo // Definitive
Il progetto prevede di accompagnare ogni illustrazione con frasi pronunciate dai protagonisti scelti di volta in volta.
Una volta aggiunto il tutto, ho armonizzato il logo per accompagnare l'illustrazione.

The project plans to accompany each illustration with phrases spoken by the protagonists chosen from time to time.
