Pocket Joy – The little pleasures in life
It is often common to see people grieving over big incidents the whole day to the extent that they neglect the small things that is happening around them. If paid attention, it is not hard to realize that there are good things that happens in our daily lives.
It can come from a stranger’s kindness, the love from a family member, a paid gratitude, or a friend that we have not contacted for a while.
Playing along the idea of ”little” pleasures in life (literally), a tiny publication with two segments on the left and the right, consists of photographs that represent the memories that mattered to different individuals. The photographs document the things that brings them happiness, the moments that they felt at ease, and scenarios that has made their day.
A ‘repetitive’ panorama shot is printed as a special page spread at the back of the page; depicting the same spot/location again and again, without a single day being the same, and that itself, portrays life.
Because at the end of the day,
being happy is the only thing that matters.
