Sticky Stays is a book based on extracts from female typographer's essays that ought to stick and stay.
This book was an assignment for Typography, so I thought it appropriate to give the book an unique voice through experimentation of typographic patterns.
The patterns play well with the sober text to give a balanced harmony of excitement and information.
I chose these particular extracts because they were distilled to their importance and easy for readers to understand and remember. Often through lengthy essays it is hard to pick up on the most vital information as it comes surrounded by padding.
This book hopes to single out and hand-out, on a platter, the information that is important to graphic designers today.
Patterns are put before and beside each new typographer, that marks a new chapter. They are also put in the front and end pages of the book.
