These designs were made in 2011, when I had not yet formed my current opinion regarding zoos (which is, in short, that they should not exist). I don´t agree with keeping animals in captivity for entertainment or financial benefit any longer, and would therefor not illustrate anything to promote a zoo anymore.
In Autumn 2020 I have made an update to this project, as part of my education at Konstfack School of Arts & Crafts. I changed these posters in order to illustrate the captive nature of a zoo environment more realistically. You can view the reworked project here
