The honeycomb table was a group project in collaboration with another designer. This table was built to mimic a honeycomb, by manipulating the shape, texture and colour, all to resemble a honeycomb. The table is meant to be used as a small coffee table or a bedside table, however the user can do as they please. The table top was created containing four different layers of the same shape glued and nailed together, to represent the thousands of layers within a honeycomb itself. The base is just a very simple structure with four legs, holding and stabilizing the table.
