Pitman Broadway Theater Posters

The original thumbnail sketch for the Peter Pan playbill illustration. We were told that the Pitman's production of this story would be similar to the Disney adaptation, so I went with a cartoony style featuring a colorful, happy character.
The final version of the Peter Pan playbill illustration. I had a ton of fun working on the sky in this one and adding all the fairy dust to make it fun and whimsical.
I wanted to try something a bit different for Cinderella. I went with a less character driven design and chose to treat the slipper as the character. This sketch had the most plans for color and texture that were not present in the sketch.
This was the most challenging of the three illustrations for me, as I was taking a serious look at how glass and light play into each other for the first time. I learned a lot and was generally happy with the outcome!
The focus of the Goldilocks illustration was showing the personalities of the characters: The fretful mother, stern father, curious cub, and oblivious Goldilocks.
I ended up tweaking Papa Bear's position a bit to make him less menacing and to help him fill the space more. I was happy with this one and it was fun to work with all the different characters.
