Solar Decathlon Project
La escuela de arquitectura ETSAV de la UPC participará un año más en el Solar Decathlon Europe, un concurso internacional cuya finalidad es diseñas y construir un prototipo de casa autosuficiente energéticamente.
La experiencia adquirida en la pasada edición de 2012 con el prototipo LOW3 (Low Energy, Low Impact y Low Cost) se convierte en (e)co para la próxima edición de 2012. El concepto inicial se redefine para mejorar el diseño del nuevo prototipo y de todos los procesos que trae asociado. Se recupera el significado original de Eco = Oykos = Casa
ETSAV School of Architecture, from UPC will participate once again in the Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 edition, an international competition of energy self-sufficient housing.
The experience in SDE 2010 edition and its prototype called LOW3, (Low Energy, Low Impact and Low Cost), turns into (e)co. The new concept defines not only the new prototype design, but also the process behind it, re-evaluating the meaning attributed to “eco” nowadays. Eco = Oykos = House
