How we can use aesthetics to project an all creating a layer of social function above and beyond an object’s strict utilitarian function? The process started with identifying three themes to guide my design direction, then both gathering and taking photos for each of these themes. Once we consolidated them into mood boards the next step was to iterate and prototype ideas. Ultimately ending up with one spoon for each theme.
