This image was made in two creative flow sessions, spanning 7 1/2 hours of time. I began the pointillism image with a murmuration in mind; a massive flock of birds that sweep and 'dance' across the sky. When complete, the murmuration was gone, replaced with this beautiful cavern. I remember very little of the making, only periodically aware of the evolution from murmuration to cavern. 

As seen: dimensions: overall, 28.5" height x 37" width x 1" depth. (6 piece) 12"x14" archival ultrachrome prints on Hahnemuhle Bamboo 290 gsm paper with satin coating, mounted on 12"x14" 3mm white Komatex board with 1" float brackets and hanging wire.
