Christchurch Water Circulation Assessment
Wastewater and Potable Water Infrastructure Vulnerabilities
Wastewater and Potable Water Infrastructure Vulnerabilities
These diagrams were part of the White Paper analysis as mentioned in the 'Breathing River' description. The document was an analysis of the wastewater and water supply infrastructure in Christchurch at three different scales. The intention was to analyse the two systems as a complete circuit made up of modules and nodes with the household as the point of interchange from the water supply to the wastewater system. The document was put together as part of a group project of which Travis McGee and Bradley Ward were a part. As a group we collated information on the systems and analysed their arrangements to try and identify the vulnerable points in the systems. My role in the project was to reinterpret the information in a clear graphic manner that would allow us to form the basis of our argument that the arrangement of the wastewater system made it an incredibly weak and vulnerable element in the chain.
