During my internship, I was integral in the creation of several publications for University Advancement, one of which was  SBU Life, a seasonal magazine that is delivered to SBU alumni and families. This publication highlights major activities of the year, as well as future events. It also has sections that allow alumni to keep one another updated. 

The semester that I worked on the magazine, the feature story was over SBU public figure Dr. Ellen Bell. I was in on the development of the issue from the ground level, from writing pieces, to brainstorming designs, to researching and interviewing for several other stories.
