So this is how it all started... I had an idea to merge the faces of the two main characters into one, after all, one is another's alter ego. BUT. It turned out to look too "scary", I was told. Oh well, there goes my first attempt at that. Admittedly, if I had a straight on looking Shadow Man, this would have turned out better. So we go digital now.

The one gun just wasn't working in terms of composition. So then I made two and it started looking more like ovaries. Also a no-go.

So THEN I thought - there is a girl. There is this girl, she visits him in dreams often, whispering to him. Lips. Definitely lips.

They wanted me to make the poster "minimalistic" but I also didn't want to make it literal. So I thought it would be cool to make the outline of the lips show a revolver. It didn't turn out as subtle as I originally intended but I like it. If I knew how, I would maybe have changed the texture to be a little more rough instead of this smooth and glossy one. Either way, this one wasn't good enough either.
