Children's Book Illustration
Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Beth Gismondi, and I am a 2007 graduate of RISD's Children's Book Illustration Certificate Program. Additionally, I earned my Master's of Education in Arts in Education (focusing on children's publishing and media) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (2008), and my Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Wellesley College (2003).
I love all things art- and design-related, but children's books hold a special place in my heart. I am an active member of the SCBWI, and attend regional and national conferences related to children's book illustration and writing. I also blog regularly at bethgismondiblog.tumblr.com.
In my spare time, I run a small custom stationery business, Treat Street Designs (www.treatstreetdesigns.com). I enjoy working with clients to create one-of-a-kind announcements for their special events.
