In this 6'x3' tapestry my goal is to visually capture the feelings of childlike tactility and optimism I associate with adventures and trips my family took during the summer when i was younger. These trips, usually camping trips to New Hampshire and Vermont, or visiting my Aunt's houses around New England weren't extravagant but were magical.
These trips usually involved madlibs and fooling around with my siblings in my Dad's old station wagon, hiking, swimming, campfires, storytelling, swapping and eating candy with my cousins.
