OUR STORY
WellSpring started in 2009 with a vision to help the next generation transform their values through sports and fun. We are convinced that the most effective way to reach these students is through challenging activities and hands-on learning. We believe that this is the best way we can change, inspire and motivate our campers to live from the inside out!
WellSpring Egypt is a community service organization dedicated to teaching, modeling, and equipping youth, young professionals, families, and teachers in the Egyptian community. Based on genuine moral values, we serve through camps, leadership and family development programs. WellSpring works with schools, universities, non-governmental organizations and governmental institutions. By partnering with well-established international partners, WellSpring offers state-of-the-art leadership and character development curriculum Habitudes that is tailored to fit the Egyptian culture.
WellSpring offers many sports and activities that facilitate the growth of our campers. Some of our most popular activities are the zip line and high ropes courses, which increase the campers' ability to challenge themselves, break down their fears and help them become more confident.
Between 2010 and 2012, we partnered with over 50 local schools and had more than 10,313 people in attendance. Due to the real changes happening in these campers lives, we have seen explosive growth. Between 2014 and 2014 we reached over 14,660 participants through our camps, 2,000 families at our carnivals, as well as 65 other events were conducted. In 2015, we’re expecting to have over 20,000 participants to attend our camps & we’re reaching our target.
