I was asked to contribute to the Illustration Biennale 2016 by illustrating a bookcover of my own choice. Obviously I picked my favorite writer, David Vann. To me he's the master of tragedy. Loneliness and savagery symbolized by rough, merciless nature in which he isolates his characters. I chose Aquarium because it is his most recent book. Moreover, it's his only book that contains illustrations. Unfortunately not by me ..
