Too Little: A Puppet Story
This was our second film project for the year, in which the class was divided into groups and assigned to make a puppet short film. The only requirement was that the puppet have a "chip on the shoulder" personality. For our film, our puppet was being bullied in school. He turns to the school's drama program, but finds that he can't catch a break. It's not until after learning how to dance, and facing his fears that he realizes that he's alright after all.
In this project, I brainstormed with our team and wrote the script. I was the main camera operator during this project, as well as editing and composing the music. This project proved difficult because of the forced-perspective we found ourselves required to consider, as well as limitations in personification due to using a puppet as a lead character. I especially take pride in the dance montage scene, as this was great fun to edit together, and I am proud of the disco track in the background, a prior project for my Digital Music class.
