Amazing Jellies, New England Aquarium

Amazing Jellies
Working with companies in the US and Japan, we created some of the largest tanks ever produced until that time. Using these tanks, we created an immersive experience to mimic marine environments spanning from the depths of the oceans to a Pacific lagoons. Lighting is always a challenge when dealing with acrylic panels, and needed to be kept low. Additionally, to support the needs of the marine life, I ensured that the tanks could retain a damp, quiet environment. Because this needed to be a traveling exhibit, I incorporated walls that could be modularized and used in any formation. Despite limited funding, my onsite management and oversight ensured that the job was finished on time and under budget.
