This piece was created for an upcoming Wynn hotel in Boston. Steve Wynn is a huge art collector and commissioned my team to make Boston-centric art in the style of his favorite artists. Mr. Wynn has a degenerative ocular disease called retinitis pigmentosa, which has caused him to be visually impaired. While working on a three person team, I was assigned to Warhol and late-career Matisse. I ensured that my pieces were accessible to visually impaired persons by using vibrant colors and large, easily discernible shapes.
