Throughout my final year of university alongside my dissertation i worked on my take of the UK's first ever print esports magazine called 'Pixels'. Pixels was designed to focus on both the culture of esports and facts and figures to inform the reader.

The magazine was created in Adobe InDesign as this is the perfect platform for a project like this allowing the user to create page by page documents much like a real magazine itself. Also a master page throughout the document with consistent text such as page numbers and titles. Indesign is the industry leading software for this application.

The front cover of the magazine was made in Adobe Illustrator using an isometric grid to create the 3d effect which works great with the characters and shapes of old the old games i chose (Mario, Snake and Tetris)

Finally the majority of the non text pages where created in Adobe Photoshop as this allows me to ensure each page looked how i had wanted. Using Photoshop i created my MLG Columbus infographic (Explored in detail on portfolio), all adverts and any photo editing required.

I was pleased with the final result of this magazine and would one day love to try to bring this magazine to print.
