Assignment:  During my first semester I had the opportunity to design a map that shows immigration in Europe in 2014.
 
Procedure: After downloading the data from Eurostat I had to pick the right projection for the map. Using ArcGis I was able to do so and exported the map to Illustrator. From there I masked the map with a circle, positioned the names around that circle and added the arrows.
