Ouvrage illustrant et mettant en page le script complet du film « 2001 : A space odyssey » de Stanley Kubrick. Il retranscrit en textures le scénario, l'histoire de l’évolution de l’espèce humaine à travers quatre différentes parties. Des textures au départ naturelles et brutes en noir et blanc laissent place à d’autres (matières), de plus en plus pixélisées et colorées avec un effet de zoom. La Gotham utilisée pour les titres et la Courier pour les textes courants sont les deux typographies qui se mélangent et se retrouvent tout au long du livre. La couverture quant à elle reprend l’idée du monolithe présent tout au long du film qui donne l’accès à la connaissance à son contact ; le titre en noir mat est imprimé sur un papier noir brillant.

Book illustrating the full script of Stanley Kubrick’s movie “2001 : A space odyssey”. The story as well as the evolution of human species are shown through four different graphical textures. From natural and rough black&white to more zoomed-in, pixelised and colorful textures. Gotham is used for the headers and Courier for the labor text. These two fonts are mixed together all along the book. The cover is inspired by an important element present in the movie : the monolith (a black rock that gives access to knowledge when someone touches it). The matt black header on the cover is printed on a shiny black paper.
