Bodegas Terra Gauda is a winery located in Pontevedra, Spain. The winery was founded in 1990 and the winemaker made 37,000 bottles of Terras Gauda ’90 using the grapes from local farmers. Through years of commitment and effort, the winery is unique and wellestablished today. The goal for this project is to redesign three different types of wine labels for the winery.

 

The concept for redesigning Bodegas Terras Gauda is “a taste of excellence”. The handrendered illustration of crowns are the key visual element used to achieve the overall brand impact, while maintaining a consistent system of design. The crowns resemble the status and royalty of its tasters, as the wine was served at the first royal Spanish wedding in 100 years, the 2004 Royal Spanish Wedding. The choice of serif font signifies a sense of elegance and professionalism for the project.
