I love the quality of light and the feeling that David Hockney captures in his series of pool paintings. They make me incredibly nostalgic for my childhood summers in Los Angeles. Using a combination of found imagery and photos of the house I grew up in, I created a digital interpretation of Hockney's "A Bigger Splash".
