Our assignment was to make a 25 sq.ft painting, so I made four books. All of the pages are 6 sq. inches, so together they add up to the required size.
These four books represent a 100 years in my life. Each book contains 25 pages and every page reflects on one year. The front of each page has painting of what I associate with that year, and on the back of each page is a short description to pair with the image. Currently I am age 19, so all the years before age 19 are an accurate description of my life. From age 20 to age 100 are things that I would hope to come true in those years. For example, the age I would want to get married.
I am not embarrased to show that I dream for the future, because I think that it is a beautiful thing to pursue. I may or may not live to 100 years, however I know that if I'm chasing the things that I really love, then at the end of my life, in my old age I can look back on my life and see a big, beautiful painting.
I plan to make more in the future.
