Nemo's Marine Curiosities - Mechanisms and Cells

This project explores the Tentorium’s technology, based on the use of oceanic resources and materials. The mechanisms developed inspired by the evolutionary traits and distinct properties of marine organisms are referred to as cells. They represent the fundamental components of this new form of city, and offer possible design solutions and technological advancements.  Marine life is abundant in peculiar organisms with unique abilities and traits that have evolved for millions of years.  Nemo’s Tentorium is designed to incorporate these marine organisms and harness their distinctive capabilities through the use of mechanisms. The mechanisms will become fundamental cells of the city, and will ensure the continuity of this marine society. (Individual descriptions to follow)
