Ship in the Bottle

A week long Music Festival for all age groups and demography was in the mind of the client. Limitations of budget and resources were of prime concern and henceforth an economically viable model was to be developed keeping localized craft and material availability in mind.
Inspired from the various elements of ship and the allied industry, the central theme being SHIP IN THE BOTTLE. A bottle shaped enclosure was constructed on the given area using casuarina’s posts, ascending metal arches, bamboo, sails made up of nylon cloth were used to create outline silhouette of the bottle.

The venue
In order to promote Rushikonda beach resort, the department of Tourism ( Govt. of Andhra Pradesh ) approached me to come up with an entertaining activity for the local revelers .
A week long event for all age groups and demography was in the mind of my client,  so as to increase the foot fall of the venue during the Christmas – New year festivity season.
Limitations  of budget and  resources were of prime concern and henceforth a economically viable model was to be developed keeping localized craft and material availability in mind.
A support system of various in house facilities were nevertheless promised to execute the design.
