AIGA Philadelphia SPACE Identity

AIGA Philadelphia SPACE Identity
Identity for AIGA Philadephia's new Old City location.
The identity is made up of multiple symbols which represent space, but only within context. With this in mind, SPACE, as an identity as well as a physical location, can adapt to the purpose for which it is being used. Within the gallery space is a video monitor that reflects this idea by constantly changing symbols based on motion in the room. When the space is not being used, the symbols become inactive and vice versa, putting further emphasis on the idea that purpose and context are reliant on each other.

Design by GDLOFT PHL
Identity developed and designed by Gdloft PHL under the direction of Allan Espiritu with designers Jonathan Clark and Louis Greco. Programming by Hyun Seo.
