La Baker
The project was to create a fictional event for a celebrity of our choosing. I chose Josephine Baker, who was an American-born French dancer, singer, and actress. France is where she recieved the nickname 'La Baker'. She was a musical and politcal icon in the 1920's.
The final poster design focused on her iconic "spit curl". Josephine Baker broke racial barriers with this glossy hairstyle, setting trends for the women of the 1920's.
