This house was designed for an IT professional and for his wife and daughter. Site was 17 perch land and client’s idea was to take maximum advantage of the site my building in a minimum foot print. Design was moved to a corner of the site to comply with the General building code and to maximize the garden space. Centralized living room with visual links for all the other spaces makes the spaces more intimate. Modern architectural elements such as huge glass facades and hidden roofs were incorporated in the design process. Further, the design was equipped with rain water harvesting system as well as a solar energy system to improve green aspect and the sustainability of the design.
